Pregnancy/Labor Prep

By integrating orthopedic principles with women's health expertise, we gain a deeper understanding of the maternal pelvis dynamics during childbirth. This unique approach empowers expectant mothers through education on suitable birthing positions tailored to their individual bodies and equips them with effective pain management strategies to facilitate labor progression. We can optimize postpartum recovery outcomes by addressing and managing the physiological changes and pelvic health symptoms that our bodies undergo during pregnancy: -Pregnancy related pain: round ligament, upper back, feet -Pelvic girdle pain: symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD), tailbone/coccyx pain, SI Joint -Back/hip pain management -Positional strategies for early & pushing stages of labor -Education on pressure management strategies for diastases/prolapse -Pelvic floor muscle coordination training for pushing prep -Perineal massage education -Improve bladder function: leaking, urgency -Bowel management: constipation, anal fissures, hemorrhoids -Exercise guidance to maintain modified activity
